A young man sought the pleasure of this life to the frustration and the disgust of the father. Finally in anger and exasperation the father kicked his son out of the home and told him never to return. He never wanted to see him again.

The boy’s mother grieved until finally she become mortally ill. A family friend had kept in touch with the boy and wrote to him about his mother’s terminally illness and that she wanted to see him before she died.

When the boy arrived at the hospital, he found his mother very weak and frail. In the hospital room, the father stood on one side of the bed with his back to the son who stood on the other. The mother took the hand of each man, and with her last strength pulled their hands together. With this final effort she died. The men fell across her bed and wept. Finally the father said, “To think it took her death to bring us together.” With that he embraced his ones, and both wept tears of sadness and joy.

Indeed, we have been separated from our Heavenly Father. To think it took the death of His son to bring us together.

God promise to send a saviour who will save the world from their sins and renew our covenant of son ship with God by Christ death at Calvary. When Adam sin he lost his birth rights to Satan. When Jesus die at the cross he reinstates man’s birth right with the command to go and make disciples of every nations, healing the sick and preaching the world. Mark 16:14-18. He also gave us rights to be sons of God. John 1:1-13.

He has done all things well. The colour of Jesus is love. He painted Calvary beautiful with his blood that we can look up to him and be cleansed.

WHAT IS JESUS TO YOU?

  • The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6.
  • The lion of the tribe of Judah, that means he is the king of kings who reign forever and ever. Rev.5:5; 19:16.
  • Jesus Christ is the light of the world. John 8:12.
  • The Author and Finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2.
Even in the grave death could not hold him captive. Matthew 27:62-66; 28:1-6. They try to stop him from rising from the death but death could not stop him, they place a rock at the mouth of the grave but they could not stop Him from rising from the death. They killed him on the tree but death couldn’t hold Him captive. They place night guards to watch over his gave but death could not hold Him captive. They carved a door from stone placed it at the mouth of the grave, they even send garrison of soldiers with great armory to guide the grave site and just in case the disciples make any trouble but yet death could not hold Jesus Christ captive.

On the third day, the stone they placed at the mouth of the grace was roll away and the garrison of soldiers who watch night and day over his grave was put to sleep by Gods power. Suddenly there was an earth quack, the earth shock, the curtain at the temple was divided into two, the old covenant was broken and the new covenant – mercy came to be. Jesus walk out of the grave back to life.

He is rising.
He’s alive
He is rising
Oh yea He’s alive

Hallelujah! Our God is alive forever more. Rise up and celebrate, we are serving the living God. Rev. 1:9. “He is the resurrection and life.” John 11:25.

Spread the good news today, a life without Christ is full of crises. Christ is the savior of the world. Mark 16:14-18.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. It is the power of God unto salvation.” If you ashamed of me before men I will be ashamed of you before my father in heaven.

HAPPY EASTER.
