GOD MAN & TRUTH

GOD MAN & TRUTH  By WPPraise

“If the moral principles and the precepts contains in the Scriptures are to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws. All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible.” Noah Webster

In trying to understand God, men often express and interpret God from the nature of man. There is nothing wrong with Gods principles but often time men manipulate God’s Word to suit their selfish ends. In trying to better understand human needs and made Him known mortal sometimes misrepresent God. They speak from the perspective of men, from the judgmental nature of men, which is retribution, violence, vengeance, unforgiving, always looking for faults to satisfy their inadequacy.

I do not believe in Christians who accept Christ but never practice His principles, which hide under the name of Christianity to make life unbearable for their fellow human beings, hypocritical and fanatical. I believe in the Christian of Christ who accept Christ and practice His principles. Who embrace charity and the command, “Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself.” Mark 12:31. Where there is no real love there is no reformation.

The number of titles we acquire does not determine the measure of a mature Christian but obedience is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:23. We may do things in God’s name that do not mean we are in total surrender. Not everyone that eats with you is your true friends. When it comes to the interpretation of God personal sentiments, emotion, the tradition of men, narrow mind thinking often times take centre stage. God made life plain and simple but men have made it complex and complicated. The manipulation of God’s Word creates confusion, if we call ourselves Christians we ought to be patience, tolerant, long suffering, forgiving, not self seeking, these are beatitude of love. Living without charity is as boring as hell. Rather be loving than hating. “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and know God.” 1 John 4:7-8. Read I Corinthians 13:1-13

Often time we get Christianity missed up with religious and the tradition of men which weight down on us and that hinder us from reaching our potential for Christ. “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 4:15.

In trying to make God known men display the nature of men rather than the nature of God. Men are always judgmental but God is in love mortals but mortals rebel against Him. John 3:16-17.  Judging is not the nature of God and God is not the author of vengeance or violence. No matter how justified you may think God is not judgmental. He touches every area of being peacefully. God’s nature is peaceful and He is the God of mercy, gentleness, unconditional love. “If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.” John 12:47

“All men, even the most seemingly cold – blooded, have a core of decency, and, that if their hearts are touches, they are capable of changing.” A man’s weaknesses are Gods opportunity to effect permanent change in his life. Our weaknesses serve as pointer to God. Is either we seek the God of the living or the god of the dead. Which side did you belong? Darkness is stress light is relieve. “Come unto me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

God Is Not The Author Of Divisive Narrow-Minded Ideology
  • He is universal, ever patience to lead His children to the path of grace and truth.
  • He is the father of the gentiles and the father of the righteous. “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthews.
God Is Neither Partial Nor Biased.
He is the God of mercy. Whether black or white, all his children are his favourite. Men have fought many wars in the name of religion. Men are ever hungry for power, to bring the less powerful under their control. Some men are highly possessive when it comes to power. They want to control everybody and if it is not their way or all hell will break lose.

Whereas:
·  God is not hungry for power. After all, God is not in competition with any other powers. He is the beginning and the end. The Alpha and Omega. Jesus is Lord forever. Revelation 22:13. Satan takes permission from God. God has no beginning and he has no end.

·  Moreover, He does not force His will on any men. Because He has empowered man to live right, make the world a better place for all. I’ve set before you, life and death, blessings and cursing; Therefore, choose life that both thou and thy seed may live.” Deuteronomy 30:15-20

· God is not in competition with anyone.

· He is ever patience, loving, kind, patiently waiting for us men to respond to His unfailing love. “The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him.” Daniel 9:9

· He knows how to get our attention without creating fear in us. For God is not the author of fear. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2Timothy 1:7

· He does not want to control and turn us to robot; He wants us to respond voluntary to His unconditional love. Love is not by force. If you do not respond to God’s love voluntarily, he will never force Himself on you. Deuteronomy 30:15-20. Evil beget evil, intolerant, violence, vengeance are products of hate. God is peaceful. From where you are, admiring nature you can breathe the gentleness of God. Nature is still God’s best missionary.

Nature is the very thought and the awesome beauty of our God, full of inspiration. Nature is an amazing wonder that continues to inspire human beings to great inventions. Natures itself is an expression of a supernatural powers beyond man. Its beauty is breathless, it leaves us calm mesmerized and harmonies.

“Oh, how I wish I could sing like the bird,” murmur the humble
Fly away to moon land
Play with spotless cloud land and
Sing my way home”

When You Are Alone In The Wood, Nature Calms You Down.
Nature is peaceful, even in the world of animals there is peace. It is in the world of human beings that violence reigns supreme. God created the earth to recycle itself but men disrupt nature and unfortunately, where men goes destruction follows them. Men are destructive, sometime unloving, men love exploiting each other whereas Gods kind of love is not selfishness but refreshing.

That is why when men try to interpret the nature of God they often time does it from the nature of man. The reasoning of man takes over. We try to make God known from mortal perspective. What we say at that particular moment depends on the states of our minds, whether we like or hate the person and if we do not like the person we are trying to correct, we try to judge and make them feel weak, incompetent and irrelevant to boost our bruise ego.

We interpret God as if He is not compassionate, faultfinder who is ever looking to punish his children for any little mistakes. Instead of mercy, we vest punishment. Instead of love, we transmit hate; instead of forgiveness, tolerance we express intolerant. Instead of understanding, we shout, fight and break TV, furniture. We promote unforgiviness whereas God forgives. “But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared.” Psalm130: 4.

Fault finding Is Not The Nature of Gods but the Nature of Men.
God is ever merciful, longsuffering and forgiving. Slow to anger ever willing to give second third chance. Because the disobedient is already judge by the law he or she breaks. That is why He provides a way of escape. “If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.” John 12:47

Look in history conquest have been from the perspective of power, violence, stronger nations enslaving smaller nations. Big brothers taking younger brothers for granted. Older sister taking younger sister for granted. In this new dispensation, the world should crave for dialogue, mutual respect among nations. Warfare has never and will never solve human conflict in this century but constructive dialogue and discussion enhance and create mutual respect among nations and unity strengthens. Warfare creates more havoc destruction among humanity.

The truth is to try to suppress any nation with old ideas of exploitation through military might it will not work in this century. There comes a time that the oppressed will rise against its oppressors. When men are push to the wall, they have no other alternative but to react by whatever means they possibly can. Man cannot completely dominate his fellow human. When domination meet domination there is bound to be damnation, flesh for flesh, a colossal messed. Those with terrorist agenda are weak, wicked. Violence is the weapon of the weak.

When old ideas die the new one takes over moreover, when old leaders die the new takes over and new ideology is born. Fresh leafs on trees reminds us green is a thing of beauty. The old is gone and the 21s century leader should endeavour to be.
·  Good listener.
·  He must have mutual respect for his fellow man.
·  He must be willing to dialogue.
·  The super power must build a new relationship among emerging economies if not they may become island to themselves, with nowhere to sale their products. “When the right hand washes the left hand and the left hand washes the right hand, both hands become clean.”
· The old is fading away and the new has come to stay. Nation rise nation falls. When men are born, men are dying and when roses fade, another one is born. When flowers fade, the grass grows again. Every one of us is a traveller in this world, in journey to know and the unknown.

It is primitive to think in this 21st century that one’s race will dominates others just as it used to be these past years. That era of one race supremacy is dead with those who promote it. The truth is that the world is more educated about the world than it used to be. The less strong are now stronger than what they were many years ago. It is only wise that men should respect each other.

The Lies of the Past Have Being Reveal.
The less important are finding their voice and the most powerful are falling by the wayside. The less important is becoming the master while the formal master will have to listen to the voice of the formal oppressed. The 21st century is a time of surprises and military might will only widening conflict, create greater conflict in the world. Dialogue and mutual respect will broaden friendship and create new allies with greater economic prosperity; the economics of emerging countries will grow/thrive and experience stability even in the midst of turbulent times.

The World is Changing so Change With It.
The world is not any one's property. As you journey on leave good memories at the sand of time. The world is moving so move with it. The world has a new face, so embrace it. Those that live in glasshouses should not throw stone for it will come back on them. We live at vulnerable times, time to stop think and reason, time to move forward. Until a man solves the riddles of yesterday, he cannot answer the problems of tomorrow. If you are unable to understand how you get to today then how will you get to tomorrow?

Oh, thou mortal, the world are waiting to hear from you. Until you reign, the world has nothing to celebrate. I shall meet you at the need of the road where the fruits fall.

“If there is any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not deter or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again.” William Penn.
